Terms of Use
Last updated 24 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Nookery, the website and mobile app. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. Individual communities may have their own agreements and rules as well; those are between you and that community.
The service
Nookery gives organized groups a place to run their community. Communities are created and run by their organizers, who are responsible for their community and its members. Nookery provides the platform and is not a party to a community's own activities or agreements.
Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and at least 13.
- You can delete your account from your profile page at any time.
Content and conduct
You keep ownership of what you post (messages, photos, profile text, files). You give the community and Nookery permission to store and show it as needed to run the service.
There is no place here for objectionable content. Do not post or send content that:
- is illegal, or that harasses, threatens, bullies, or demeans others, or promotes hatred or violence;
- is sexually explicit, exploits or endangers minors, or shows graphic violence;
- is spam, a scam, or impersonates someone else;
- infringes someone's intellectual property or shares others' private information without consent;
- attempts to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other people's accounts.
Reporting and removal
- Report it. Tell your community's organizers about content or people that break these rules. You can also write to us at hello@nookery.io and we will look into it; please include where you saw it.
- Organizers can act. Organizers can remove content and remove or suspend members of their community.
- We can act too. We may remove content, suspend a community, or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. We aim to respond to reports promptly.
Organizers
If you run a community you are responsible for how it uses members' information, for the rules you set, and for moderating it. Follow applicable law, and respect the Privacy Policy and these terms.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Nookery is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what other users post or do. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.
Privacy and contact
See our Privacy Policy for how information is handled and Support for help. Questions about these terms: hello@nookery.io.
